Breadwinners

2023 • Digital Documentary Series (5 x 10 minute episodes)

  • Breadwinners is a 5-episode documentary series about the farmers, food distributors, and cooks who feed everyday New Yorkers. Each ~10 minute episode is told from the perspective of a different food worker and explores what food means to them and to their community.

    Made with colleague and BFF, Courtney Schaefer,the two of us pitched, developed, and created this project while at Daydream Studios, helping to launch the agency’s original content department. Courtney and I produced and directed every element of this series together, and I edited each episode.

KCSM: The Bay Area’s Jazz Station to the World

2024 • Documentary (60 minutes)

  • To celebrate its 60th anniversary, KCSM wanted to tell the story of its history, the enduring power of jazz, and the station’s commitment to the community it serves. The radio station partnered with Incurrent Media to produce this hour-long documentary about the station’s legacy and the power of America’s only original art form.
